50 CENT TELLS T.I "DONT GET EMOTIONAL OVER YOUR LADY, IT A GET YOU INTO SHIT"

G-Unit leader 50 Cent has lashed back at Atlanta rapper T.I. following some excerpts from his new VIBE magazine cover feature "I'ma tell you, 50 Cent and anybody else, we not gonn'a have no discussion about what my ole lady should'a, would'a, couda done for anything as it pertains to me," begins his rant. "We ain't gonn'a do that. I'm the only one in my family that's gonna take a lick when it pertains to the legal system. Since me, none of my other family members have seen a jail cell. Nobody. I'm the last one. The buck stops here. I feel that a person that stands behind [his woman for a criminal charge] is a coward anyway. ... She wasn't gonna catch it period, 'cause I'm there. That wasn't even a consideration. Even if she asked me to I would've been like, "Nah, you trippin'." (VIBE) Well we all know 50 and he wasted no time and returned mad shots via twitter in rampage of tweets... "Man I just saw something T.I said in VIBE about a tweet I wrote when he caught his drug case. He just got out a jam and caught a new one," 50 tweeted November 25th. Then he tweeted"Any other time a n*gga done. Get caught with 10 machine gun an silencer then catch a drug charge. You will f**k around and get natural life" then again "This boy got a get outta jail FREE card. Don't get emotional over your lady. It a get you in some sh*t you don't want to be in. He then sent a final tweet "If U can get 5 years easy 4 some sh*t and I'm the support of my family. Why would it be wrong if ya lady had to take probation? Sh*t she ballin to lol" (50 Cent's Twitter) T.I decided to voice his feelings on this situation via..........You guessed it TWITTER, this is what he had to say "Straight G code...No "TWEEFIN" here champ!!!! Peace 2da real og's we out!!!," he tweeted shortly after 50. (T.I.'s Twitter)..Whats your thoughts on the King of the South and the King of NY going head to head?

FORMER DTP ARTIST SHAWN J OF FIELD MOB THROWS SHOTS AT LUDACRIS

Former DTP member Shawn J has decided to answer Ludacris' "Say It To My Face" record from the mixtape 1.21 Gigawatts by releasing his own diss track called "P*ssy Boy" which is below Shawn J had this to say I'm pretty sure for a fact he's talking about me on 'Say It to My Face.' That bullsh*t. It's crazy because I did that. This sh*t don't hold no weight -- Gotta look at it like, when you're an artist and doing TV or whatever, I've been sitting at home before watching BET and seen 'So What' ringtone come up on Jamster commercials. And then we weren't getting them checks," Shawn said about Field Mob's 2006 hit. "So it left a sour taste in my mouth. And then it had a whole thing transpire with us anyways...One minute, we were cool as f*ck. I pretty much understood that that's how DTP rocks. They use you for whatever. When Luda ain't got no hit songs, they godd*mn milk you for your sh*t and then move onto the next project. That's exactly what they did. I feel like he a f*ck n*gga. That's how I feel. I know they whole system, I've been around. I've seen how other artists got treated just like that. Some real f*ck n*gga sh*t. So I called him a b*tch, a b*tch a** n*gga."....Whats your thoughts on Shawn J taking shots at Ludacris is it warranted?

ERICK SERMON SUFFERS HEART ATTACK

The hip-hop community is still reeling from the death of Heavy D earlier this week, but more troubling news surfaced over the weekend. Via a brief tweet on Saturday (November 12), DJ Scratch revealed that Erick Sermon has suffered from a heart attack. The 42-year-old singer is one half of the legendary New York group EPMD along with Parrish Smith.  Details on Sermon’s status are still scarce, but according to Scratch (who once DJed for EPMD), he seems to be stable.

UPDATE:

MTV News has reached out to Erick Sermon's camp. He is listed in stable condition but he remains in the coronary care unit. "Erick Sermon had a heart attack today," DJ Scratch wrote. "He's ok, but still send your prayers. He is not on Twitter." Fans have continued to tweet their questions at him after the initial announcement, prompting him to reply, “I wish yall tweet me this much when I tweet good news. Smh”

Before embarking on his successful solo career, Sermon scored several hits--including 1987’s “It’s My Thing,”--with Parrish Smith as part of EPMD (Erick and Parrish Making Dollars). His first solo album No Pressure was released in 1993....Will be keeping you in our prayers over at Da League News, to all you young bucks out there heres some LEGENDARY EMPD for you to bring you up to date...

BRYAN LEACH CLEARS UP ASAP ROCKY'S 3 MILLION DOLLAR DEAL

As speculation continues to intensify surrounding Harlem rap newcomer A$AP Rocky's $3 million signing to Polo Grounds/RCA, the company's president Bryan Leach has ironed out the confusion. According to Leach, the $3 million deal includes marketing, budget and other vital assets within a recording contract. This is what he had to say... "What he was saying was, when you look at his deal, between the marketing, the promotion, the A&R budget, the advance, the life of the deal--this is what it comes up to," Leach told XXL. "It's no different than an NBA contract if you factor in bonuses. It was definitely a competitive deal, and it was worth every penny, but it wasn't 3 million dollars in his pocket." Though he denied that the deal put three million dollars in Rocky's bank account, Leach wouldn't confirm what the exact number was. "That's putting out his personal business," he said. "It was a competitive deal. I will say that every single label out there was trying to sign the kid, and he took one or two meetings and went with his gut and his heart. It wasn't because of money. It wasn't a big a** bidding war. But it was a competitive deal. It also factors in his A$AP Crew." (XXL Mag)...Havent heard alot of music from Asap Rocky, but the "Purple Swag" song is pickin up steam, but 3 mill? Whats your thoughts?

FIRST WEEK SALES ARE IN FOR MAC MILLER & WALE

Maybach Music Group rapper Wale's Ambition debuted on the charts at No. 2. After seven days in stores, the LP has sold 164,100 copies. This is what Wale had to say about his successful first week via twitter.... "163k! I love my fans .. I'm so grateful.. Thank you Thank you... I'm speechless hip hop for life #mmg #boa," Wale tweeted November 8th. "We did it RT @WaleNation: We did it 163K!! Congrats @Wale!#Ambition" (Wale's Twitter)

Wale wasnt the only one to rake in great sales this week,  Rostrum Records rapper Mac Miller's Blue Slide Park, distributed digitally by INgrooves and physically by Fontana, will debut at #1 smack dab in the middle of Q4, with estimates of between 175-185k, which might even be conservative. This is a triumph of social networking and good, new-fashioned viral marketing, as Malcolm McCormick, the son of a Christian architect father and Jewish mother photographer, transforms his combined 2.7 millionTwitter, Facebook and MySpace followers into an impressive debut....Im not really shocked on the sales, I even expected more from Mac Miller being that he has this huge cult following behind him..Congrats to both Camps this is a good look for HIP HOP!...thoughts?

DRAKE FINALLY TALKS HOLD UP ON THE 9TH WONDER/PHONTE COLLABO

Young Money star Drake has finally addressed ex-Little Brother member Phonte's accusations of dodging him and 9th Wonder for a collaboration despite giving them multiple public accolades.Drizzy said while he does apologize to Phonte, there is an explanation for a delayed collabo.

"With me and Tay, I kinda dropped the ball on a feature he needed me to do, just being 100% honest," he explained. "I really wanted to do a record with him, and we actually did do a record for my album, and then something happened with the producer and the beat, and it started getting funny so I had to scrap the record. And then he was like, 'Well, can you do this feature for me,' and at the time I was trying to find my sound and trying to figure out what this album was going to be about, and I kind of let it slip through the cracks. That was my fault, and I do apologize to Phonte for that. But I still want to make it happen; I talked to 9th Wonder about trying to make it happen, we'll get it eventually. He knows he's one of the biggest influences on my career." (Village Voice)

In August, Phonte gave his reaction to Drizzy dedicating his BMI Awards "Songwriter of the Year" trophy to him and questioned their delayed joint effort..."To my knowledge, [a Take Care collaboration] is not happening. We've made contact with each other but all of my attempts to make something real happen have led to a dead end," Phonte said in an interview. "I saw that he dedicated his BMI award to me and while that was a very noble and thoughtful gesture, I'd much rather he had dedicated himself to finishing a verse for one of me and 9th [Wonder]'s songs. That, to me, seems like a more tangible way of showing gratitude. But with that said, I'm still a fan and I think he's an incredibly talented artist. When Take Care drops, he's got my money." (The Source)......Whats your thoughts on drake not making time to collab with Phonte, dude did list him as one of his influences...

BOXING LEGEND JOE FRAZIER PASSES AWAY FROM LIVER CANCER AT 67

Joe Frazier, a onetime heavyweight champion whose epic battles with Muhammad Ali in the 1970s spilled from the boxing ring into a decades-long war of words, died Nov. 7 of liver cancer at age 67. His family said he died in hospice care in Philadelphia. Mr. Frazier and Ali were the dominant heavyweights of their generation, and their rivalry was considered one of the most heated and enduring in all of sports. Both fighters had won Olympic gold medals, but in most other respects they were very different. Mr. Frazier, a sharecropper’s son from South Carolina, was stocky and powerful. The most exciting thing about him was his nickname, “Smokin’ Joe.” His crouching, relentless style of boxing was in stark contrast to the tall, graceful presence of Ali. Even more telling, Mr. Frazier’s quiet stoicism was no match for Ali’s glib flamboyance.

The last of their three fights, the “Thrilla in Manila” in 1975, is widely ranked as the greatest match in boxing history. But the bouts that Mr. Frazier and Ali fought in the ring were complicated by a personal antipathy rare in sports. Ali’s needling of Mr. Frazier turned from ordinary ribbing to something deeper that reflected the divisions of race and opportunity in America. Ali had been the heavyweight champion from 1964 to 1967, when he had to relinquish his title after refusing to participate in the military draft.

In 1970, Mr. Frazier beat Jimmy Ellis to become the undisputed heavyweight champion. With Ali returning to boxing after a three-year layoff, the stage was set for a showdown. Against a background of political and racial upheaval, Ali called Mr. Frazier “ignorant,” “dumb” and an “Uncle Tom.”Mr. Frazier, who had admired Ali, was baffled and insulted by what he considered a betrayal of the brotherhood of boxers. In response, he referred to Ali by his original name of Cassius Clay, which Ali considered an affront.“Clay, he makes me laugh,” Mr. Frazier told Sports Illustrated in 1971. “What do he know about hard times? Bigmouthing and loud talk, he’s an expert on that, but hard times — that’s something else.”

Their first fight took place at New York’s Madison Square Garden on March 8, 1971, with a glittering backdrop. The crowd was studded with celebrities, including Woody Allen, Dustin Hoffman and Diana Ross. Frank Sinatra was a ringside photographer for Life magazine. Each fighter was guaranteed $2.5 million, the highest purse in boxing history at the time.

Early in the fight, Ali shook his head in disdain whenever Mr. Frazier caught him with a punch. By the 11th round, Ali was reeling backward from a succession of blows. For the first time, he looked confused and defeated in the boxing ring. About 25 seconds into the 15th and final round, Mr. Frazier landed a left hook on Ali’s jaw, sending him to the floor, with his head bouncing off the canvas.Mr. Frazier won a unanimous decision, giving Ali the first loss of his career. Both fighters ended up in a hospital.

On Jan. 22, 1973, Mr. Frazier lost his title when George Foreman knocked him down six times in two rounds, prompting ABC broadcaster Howard Cosell’s memorable exclamation: “Down goes Frazier! Down goes Frazier! Down goes Frazier!” We send are condolences out to the frazier family, the LEGEND will be missed...

DRAKE & LIL WAYNE WILL PASS AT DROPPING A JOINT ALBUM AT THE PRESENT TIME

We learned today via xxl that Drake & Lil Wayne will not be dropping a album at the PRESENT time... this is what drake had to say to xxl... "Me and Wayne scrapped the idea of a collaboration album,” Drake exclusively told XXL. “We just agreed that it would be looked upon as…It would be sort of this competition [with Watch The Throne]. I feel like it would get caught in this whirlwind of hype. [Wayne] agreed. We just said, ‘If we do it, we’ll do it down the line. But right now is not the time. On “Y.O.L.O.,” mixtape with Rick Ross: “We haven’t really connected because he’s been going through this thing with his health. I’ve been stashing my little beats and verses. I don’t have a drop date for it or a time for it. To be honest, its something I just really wanted to pop up out of nowhere".....

FUTURE SPEAKS ON DRAKE NOT APPEARING IN TONY MONTANA VIDEO

This is some good insight into the industry listening to Future break down his scenario with his hit single.Future says he predicted Drake's absence from the remix to his "Tony Montana" video. The Atlanta rapper told him to make sure he knew what he was doing by getting on the song because he wanted to complete the thought and make a movie.

Future goes into depth with The Source about his feelings on trying to get Drake for the video and he even called him personally after the label exhausted their means.Drizzy used the excuse that he was working on his album and according to Future they tried to accommodate the Young Money star by coming to him and even using a green screen effect."He jumped on the record, it's a win win...I just take a negative and make it into a positive," says Future. Check out the video below...

RICK ROSS FINALLY SPEAKS IN DEPTH ON SEIZURES ALSO REVEALS JAY Z COLLABO

Rick Ross shook the Hip Hop community when he suffered two seizures in the same day earlier this month, but he assures fans that he’s on the road to recovery. During an appearance on “106 & Park,” Ricky Rozay appeared in good spirits, explaining that his medical emergency stemmed from sleep deprivation and that he has a clean bill of health.“What it was was I was going about my business as every day. I boarded a flight, and on the flight, I had a seizure and when I snapped out of it, they told me what had happened. I was like, you buggin', call a jet, we finna keep it moving. Because I understand me growing up and hearing about seizures, they can be violent, you bust vessels and bite your tongue up and this and that and in my case, it wasn’t none of that. I felt a little worn out, but I felt I could keep going and that’s what it was.”

He recalled getting on a second plane and having another seizure. When he awoke, he realized the source of his problems.“I boarded a jet and I had another seizure, and when I snapped out of that one, I woke up in front of a doctor and he asked me basically, ‘When was the last time you slept eight hours?’ and I said ‘It had to at least been five years.’ Being the fastest growing label in the game, it comes with a lot of sacrifices. And in my case, it was sleep. I would get two hours of sleep and keep moving, me being a hustler. And that has to stop.“I came back totally healthy,” he added. “It was a case of me not getting enough rest, not getting enough sleep.”
He also mentioned that while he was supposed to be on bed rest, he instead netted "the biggest collaboration that we've done for my album" with Jay-Z ...Its good to see the Boss back in good spirits, plus I know this health scare influenced alot of people to get there health in check...S/O MMG/Def Jam were waiting on that "God Forgives, I Dont"....

YELAWOLF CALLS OUT MACHINE GUN KELLY "FEELING FROGGY, THEN JUMP"

Yelawolf recently caught up with Bootleg Kev to respond to some recent comments made by Machine Gun Kelly about the line from his Shady 2.0 cypher during the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards, "Plenty of white boys to pick from this year/But before you pick a pepper you better pick up your heater." The Alabama rapper said that he wasn't actually referring to the Bad Boy signee with those lines at that he's catching feelings over nothing. At the same time, however, if MGK wants to go to war, he'd be more than willing to oblige.

"He's being sensitive. He thinks I'm talking about him [when I'm not]," he explained. "The best thing that he could do is if he has a problem or if he has something he needs to say to me, just say my name, dog. This is Hip Hop, if you've got something you want to rap about, just rap about it. At the end of the day - this is the God's honest truth, on the Bible - I haven't heard any of his songs...just because a rapper is white, I don't feel the need to attack them; part of my crew is white rappers...that's not at all my aim...at the end of the day, it could all be boiled down to records...put it on wax...Machine Gun Kelly, if want it, come get it. Drop your verse, do whatever you want to [do]. If you want to take it there, we can take it there - and that goes for anybody else, too. If you're feeling froggy, jump mothafucka."

He added, "I've worked really hard for a long time to create a style and a sound that's all my own taken from the inspirations that I've pulled from, from the Beastie [Boys] and Redman, and as far a live shows go Cypress Hill and Triple 6 [Mafia], just trying to give a rebirth to that energy, so I heard there were some [comments]...after the BET Awards...[where Kelly] was going on about how no one needs to be doing [crowd surfing and other stage antics]...like, 'We started this, when no one else was headbanging, we were headbanging.' I really was in awe, I couldn't believe he had the audacity to say that. Not even on my behalf - take me out of the equation - this is Hip Hop, man. This music is very broad. I have people in my crew that are straight hardcore [music fans] that came off of the [Vans] Warped Tour...[and] they were offended." Both are talented, but I agree with yelawolf, I  didnt know the cypher freestyle was about MGK, if it was it was they both should concentrate on trying to get a album on the shelves, both have big teams behind them with Bad Boy and Shady alot of artist would love to be in this situation, my advice is to take advantage of it, your thoughts?
(Yelawolf Speaks On The Situation)
