50 CENT PUSHES HIS ALBUM BACK PROBLEMS AT INTERSCOPE AGAIN?

Fans hoping to get their hands on a new 50 Cent solo album may have to wait a bit longer as the G-Unit leader has expressed disinterest in putting the project out. Based on a Twitter response to a fan, Fif gave little assurance of the LP being retail-ready in the near future. This is the first real sign that 50?s fifth, yet untitled album may never arrive in stores anytime soon. In a response to a fan asking "so did you just give up on your new album? I was expecting a classic man", 50 said "I may have to fall back" signalling that the long delayed LP may be shelved, at least for the time being. (Hip Hop N More)

Last month, the rap star blamed Interscope Records' lack of interest and energy for delaying its release."I wrote this album. I went through the process of writing it. It's been discouraging at points to not see the same efforts from everyone," 50 said when asked about his label frustrations and perceived depression. "As far as me partnering with Feeding America for this actual project, the business model that I adapted was -- conscious capitalism. [New album this year?] Hopefully." (CES)

A few weeks ago, Fif issued an open apology for going off on Interscope over an unauthorized leak via twitter. "Discovered a computer glitch leaked my song. Sorry to team at interscope for over reacting!," he tweeted January 8th. "I put a lot in to this project but I don't care if it ever comes out. Jimmy iovine has been like a mentor for me. I just want to stay friends" (50 Cent's Twitter)

In December, the New York rap star revealed he had no intention of rushing out a new LP."I want to come out at the top of the year, I want to be ready, but, you know, of course it's all on how everybody else puts together their actual marketing campaign and get it right," 50 said in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid. "I don't have a timeline anymore. I'm doing the Dr. Dre. I'm doing what Eminem does. I've been on a shot clock my entire career. 'I've gotta come out during this period. I've got to come out during this period.' Like, every other year. My albums are so successful that it would take me a year to get done touring off of them. I may not necessarily tour off of this album. I might release it and decide I'm going to make the next one instead of actually going out and touring and let everybody live with that and do something different. Or they'll see me at spot dates." 50 CENT PUTS PRESSURE ON INTERSCOPE

G-Unit leader 50 Cent's Interscope Records label woes continue heading into the new year with him threatening the company. Resorting to Twitter, 50 demanded a record deal contract and directly called out Interscope Records head Jimmy Iovine. "I got 3,500,000 views in 3 day on hands up. Ok I need a record deal jimmy iovine , call me early tomorrow or I'm putting out another mix tape," he tweeted December 31st. Then later on he added "Anybody want to sign me I'm a young hungry artist and I work harder then everybody in hiphop call me tomorrow. Street king energy." (50 Cent's Twitter)

While Fif is requesting a record deal, he reportedly has one final album obligation with Interscope. "It's actually my final requirement. My fifth album and the final requirement for Interscope. I had some difficulties with the actual system," 50 explained in an interview. "There are people there that are afraid to lose their job -- they've seen other people get fired. I think they're afraid to make some decisions that need to be made right away, they just sit and look...We've had some conversations communicated to develop plans for different things and it's not actually executed in the time plan that we've created. And I get frustrated and I start doing things, like I put the record out." (MTV UK)....Whats your Thoughts?

IS 50 CENT HAVING TROUBLE WITH INTERSCOPE?

G-Unit general 50 Cent's Interscope Records issues appear to be far from over, as usual 50 Cent took to his Twitter this week to publicly lash out against the renowned music label. Fif also said he would not allow Interscope to dictate when his music drops. "Man interscope put out the single art saying its coming out on the 31st but its not coming out. I'm not putting my album out till we are all on the same page," he tweeted December 13th. 50 Cent then tweeted  "These people are gonna make me kill one of them. Now madonna's single is called GIRLS GONE WILD. This is some bull sh*t #SK"....wait theres more "This is nuts to me. I try to do everything I can to keep my cool you know what? If they don't care I don't care I'm putting out a video now".

A few days ago, 50 said he was in control of when his new untitled LP drops he told Shade 45 "I want to come out at the top of the year, I want to be ready, but, you know, of course it's all on how everybody else puts together their actual marketing campaign and get it right," 50 said in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid. Or they'll see me at spot dates." It seems like Jimmy Iovine and 50 Cent are finally at there breaking point, the relationship shouldnt last too much longer, 50 has one album left on interscope with a clause in his contract that will make his last actual album on interscope a "Greatest Hits" album, whats your thoughts?  Heres some new music from 50 Cent off his new mixtape "The Big 10" celebrating the 10 year anniversary of "50 Cent Is The Future".

50 CENT SIGNS JERSEY SHORE STAR DJ PAULY D

G-Unit general 50 Cent has opened up on his new DJ Pauly D signing and why he sees the "Jersey Shore" reality show star being a cross between DJ Khaled and DJ Drama. "When Pauly came by to see me, they had options. They had several places that they were going, and people that were interested in doing a deal with him. Obviously, the momentum from "Jersey Shore" was spun off into him being the first one to have his own independent series. They're moving places and DJing in front of bigger audiences, and getting ready to make moves internationally, where the DJ is the star, overseas. When I sat with him, I saw the opportunities we could have moving forward, with brand extension and packaging the music...I look forward to it. I call him "the bridge." He's going to be something between what you would get from a DJ Khaled or a DJ Drama and what you would get from David Guetta." (Rolling Stone)Whats your thoughts on 50's new signee?

50 CENT TELLS T.I "DONT GET EMOTIONAL OVER YOUR LADY, IT A GET YOU INTO SHIT"

G-Unit leader 50 Cent has lashed back at Atlanta rapper T.I. following some excerpts from his new VIBE magazine cover feature "I'ma tell you, 50 Cent and anybody else, we not gonn'a have no discussion about what my ole lady should'a, would'a, couda done for anything as it pertains to me," begins his rant. That wasn't even a consideration. Even if she asked me to I would've been like, "Nah, you trippin'." You will f**k around and get natural life" then again "This boy got a get outta jail FREE card. Don't get emotional over your lady. It a get you in some sh*t you don't want to be in. He then sent a final tweet "If U can get 5 years easy 4 some sh*t and I'm the support of my family. Why would it be wrong if ya lady had to take probation? Sh*t she ballin to lol" (50 Cent's Twitter) T.I decided to voice his feelings on this situation via..........You guessed it TWITTER, this is what he had to say "Straight G code...No "TWEEFIN" here champ!!!!
