MA$E SUED FOR 35K OVER UNPAID JEWELRY

Former Bad Boy Records rapper Ma$e is still living to the tune of "Mo' Money, Mo' Problems" as new reports claim he owes $35,000 for unpaid jewelry. According to reports, Ma$e's financial crunch dates back over six years ago. Getting sued for $35,000 definitely does not feel so good to rapper Mase -- especially when he claims he doesn't even have any obligation to pay the money in the first place! Mase has been fighting an ongoing legal battle with Aydin and Company, a jeweler in Atlanta, since the summer. According to legal docs filed in Georgia, they claim Mase owes them $35,000 dating alllllll the way back to 2005. (TMZ)

While the matter remains unsettled, the Harlem, New York-bred rapper has reportedly refuted the jeweler's claim. According to court filings, the jewelers haven't been able to serve Mase with legal papers after trying multiple times at his Georgia home -- each time being turned away by staff who say he isn't there. They claim he's been ducking them for months and they had a process server file an affidavit in the case ... stating Mase is "evading service." For his part, Mase filed papers asking for the suit to be dismissed ... claiming improper service and the fact that he never signed the "alleged contract at issue in case." The jewelers want their money, attorneys fees and 1.5% interest per month on the money he owes. A judge has yet to make a ruling. (TMZ).....Damn Ma$e PAY YA BILLS!!!



FORMER BAD BOY ARTIST LOON ARRESTED ON DRUG TRAFFICKING CHARGES

Former Bad Boy Records rapper Loon was reportedly arrested this month in Belgium on drug trafficking charges. While details are still developing, reports of Loon's arrest became public Friday (November 25). So much for being on his deen. While entering Belgium last Friday, former rapper Loon, now known as Amir Junaid Muhadith was arrested while at a Brussels airport for drug trafficking. Various sources report the arrest stems from an indictment back in May for distributing heroin three years ago in North Carolina. He has now been extradited back to the U.S. Guess he's a bad boy for life. (Rap Radar)...Damn Loon we hope these charges are false my dude we hate see a black brother get locked up especially dealing with Police overseas, my prayers go out to your family but to all you young bucks here some old Loon to refresh your memory...

THE INFAMOUS QUAD STUDIOS REOPENS IN NEW YORK FOR BUSINESS

A legendary recording studio that is steeped in Hip-Hop folk lore will reopen this weekend in New York City. Quad Studios will reopen their doors to unveil a brand new recording studio next weekend, in a newly renovated space in Times Square. The recording studio is the site where legendary rap star Tupac Shakur was originally shot in 1994, setting off a chain of events that would eventually lead to the deaths of both Shakur (1996) and Biggie Smalls (1997). Outside of the infamous incident involving Tupac, the Quad Studios was already historical studio that produced dozens of gold and platinum album over the past 30 years. Artists like Rihanna, Coldplay, Whitney Houston, Jay-Z, LL Cool J, Shabba Ranks, Gerald Levert, Bob Dylan and others have recorded in the studio. An invitation-only event will take place Friday (October 21) from 7:00PM-10:00PM.
